Meet Dr. Lucy

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Lucy Shuttleworth to the Kemper Pelvic Physio team!

Lucy studied Kinesiology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and discovered her love for pelvic health early in her career. Before graduate school, she worked at a pelvic health clinic for almost 2 years where she gained great experience and started honing her skills.

She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wingate University in Charlotte, NC. After, she worked as a travel physical therapist for a few years before wanting to settle back down and find a home in Atlanta.

She finds great joy in being a part of someone’s pelvic health journey – helping her patient’s feel more like themselves again. She especially loves treating issues related to urinary incontinence, prolapse and pelvic pain (including dyspareunia and vulvodynia).

Outside of work, you can usually find her reading, hiking, trying new recipes, taking long walks, and spending time with friends and family.

Please help us give a warm welcome to Dr. Lucy. We’re thrilled to have her as a part of the KPP team!
